The new Prelude Si has made this year’s Ten Best no exception. Then again, its truly an exceptional car. The sleek new body is wider and lower to the ground for better roadholding. Bumpers have a flexible face that withstands bumps. While large triangular taillights are cleanly shaped and easy to see.

As long as you have the horsepower, you might as well put it to good use. A refined five-speed transmission, new double-wishbone suspension and anti-lock braking system help you do exactly that. Just ask the Car and Driver guys.
