Handheld Phototherapy Narrowband UVB with Timer KN-4003BL Series is a drug free, clinically proven device for the treatment of all types of Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Eczema and similar skin conditions, both on the body and scalp.
This device uses original Philips™ UV-B 311nm narrowband lamps with specific wavelength of the sun’s natural spectrum. To minimize potential side effects like redness and itching, then the precise and unique spectral energy distribution with an emission peak at 311 nm. Also, a shorter period of exposure is needed. The more effect, but less discomfort.
Treatment Time Narrowband UVB KN-4003BL
Treatment can be started from 20 seconds 3-4 times a week for each area treated. To use it simply place it against the affected area. Positive results have been seen in as little as one week, however results do vary between individuals and severity of condition. Keep 3cm between the UV device and the lesion parts.
Covering the normal skin by cloth or clothes before treatment.
If your skin feel dry or itch slightly, you can apply some hydrating cream which make you feel better.
If your skin being ultraviolet burned because of radiating too long, you need stop the radiation immediately and contact your doctor at once, also don't forget to take measures to avoid being exposed in the sun directly, and delay the next treatment schedule until the lesion parts recovering.
