Up for bid is a Vintage Handy Guide for Small Concrete Masonry Jobs put out by the Portland Cement Association in Chicago in 1957. This 11-page booklet has instructions for building patios, garden walls, planters, outdoor fireplaces, and how to lay concrete blocks.
Oh so retro but oh so handy and timely! It is in fair used condition. Frankly, it looks like maybe it was laying the blocks itself. There are l
oose pages, some tears, and staining (see photos). HOWEVER, all of the plans are intact and readable.
Come on - you know you've been meaning to upgrade your outdoor space. This is the book for you!!
