    Description

    One instruction book put together by the BAILEY METER COMPANY for the US Navy aircraft carrier USS FORRESTAL CVA-59 titled BOILER CONTROLS.  12 photos do not come close to showing the contents of this book.  Dated 1973.  The book is huge, 3 7/8" thick and weighing over 8 pounds.  The first 3rd has 44 tabs describing all different control systems.  The other 2/3rds of the book is endless foldout plans, schematics, etc.  This book was not on the ship but in an engineering control center.  Great memories for a former boiler tender.
